'Deer Hunter' theme might stump beginning guitarists: I thought everyone knew it was called "Cavatina". Funny how it gets referred to as the "Deer Hunter" theme. To me it'll always be the music they played for the "Gallery" section on the kids' TV programme "Vision On" featuring Tony Hart.

OK, I'm off to France on my holidays for two weeks now, so there won't be any updates until later in the month when I return. I will be taking my Traveler Pro Series guitar with me (see www.travelerguitar.com), although the unique stethoscope headset is a little uncomfortable, so I'm also packing a very small Danelectro headphone amp which fits nicely into the front pocket of the Traveler's gig bag.
