Both times I visited AUS in the 80's ISTR all of the teens and club-goers bemoaning the fact they really didn't have any kind of a live music scene at all!<br /><br />Any band that found success was quickly exported and seldom returned. The Brit/U.S bands that went, went once ( and swore they'd never do it again! ) In any event, it strikes me odd there'd be this level of devotion ( and it is a marvel ) w/ little/no demand? There's a non-compensated bridge on the regular guitar portion, and a compensated bridge on the slide.
