I was in London on the weekend and saw the live broadcast. Loads of great guitar playing from Muse and PIL. The XX showed how effective very subtle guitar parts can be and the Beach Boys, well, how many guitars do you need on Stage? Perculiar you can't hear any of them in the mix. Lots of great singing too. Well worth a download.
Lu Edmonds is such a cool guitarist - much like Warren Ellis, he refuses to just stick with the standard 6-string setup. Very cool.
