Back to vintage rarities, with the Electra X-730 MPC (we've seen already the 720 version), a guitar that comprises two changeable on-board effects modules (Modular Powered Circuits). At first sight, it has the serious pro look of the Japanese guitars of the 1970s but it has many unusual details - from the abalone inlays to the knobs in line, via the stoptail, the selector, the pickguard...

ReplyDeleteI KICK myself for having gotten rid of my '74 Electra LP knock off. It was super sweet, stayed in tune under virtually all playing conditions and the PU's were HOT. But... I had to have a Strat..!

I had one of these and it was OK playing.. Action was low but it hung on a strap funny, and I didn't like it.
