Kay "Old Kraftsman" Sizzler vintage electric guitar

guitarz.blogspot.com:
With a body shape that looks like it could have been cut out by hand using a saw in your garden shed, this Kay Old Kraftsman Sizzler guitar manages to be crude and quite fantastic at the same time. "Old Kraftsman" was actually a brandname used on Kay guitars sold by Spiegel stores. The maple neck gives it a rather Fender-like appearance, but this is in fact a set neck and not a bolt-on.

Currently listed on eBay with a Buy It Now price of $1,199.99.

  1. Appears to be some form of spalting, de-lamination or other damage defect on the treble side of the fingerboard from the 15th on. The photos wouldn't enlarge, paerhaps others can get a better view?

The seller's claim is fair enough, doubt we'll see another, but I rather like it. All you'll need now are strippers dancing in cages behind you. The finish looks as if it's granite. Bit of a gamble at that price but def. interesting.
