Just magnificient. The theme was known to be similar to a Cherokee theme (Don't forget Jimi's mother was a Cherokee) but what strikes me is the eastern connection . People who first lived in America are said to come from the far east having crossed the sea while it was frozen in the extreme north of the continent but, though having listened to quite much "American Indian" music, I never actually felt the connection with eastern tradition. That opens a lot of doors to me and to other musicians I hope!
