Can you help identify this contemporary-looking Jaguar-like guitar?

What is this guitar? Some fellas and I are having a conversation about it at the tapeop forum, and we cannot figure it out. Some think it is a Fernandez, but the logo is wrong as well as the headstock and the location of the controls...
Any ideas, guys? I'm sure I've seen something like this myself, but can't pin a brand/model name on it.

  2. I've seen this before at a local music store here in Valencia, it's a Rochester, essentially a strat with a jaguar/jazzmaster body (3 pickups, strat trem)
    It's this one

  3. The headstock doesn't look exactly right, but otherwise it looks like a Hodson Surfcat:

  4. the "hodson" and the "jack & denny" there are probably the same guitar with different decals. They look kinda cool but are most likely pretty cheap chinese-made guitars

  5. It looks like a Fernandes F-65. Here's one from the back pages that has been modified extensively:

They're hard to find pictures of. Basically a Strat copy with a Jaguar shape.

  6. I bought a J&D neck from Guitar Fetish, definitely the same headstock.
