1970s Greco telecaster-esque black beauty

guitarz.blogspot.com:

We've looked at a lot of Greco guitars here on Guitarz but I've never seen this particular Greco before. The telecaster similarities are quite obvious but it retains a style all its own with a funky tremolo, awesome pickups ( deArmond?), and more pronounced cutaway on the upper horn.

Listed for $495 US.

  1. Those are classic greco pickups I've seen them on a lot of 70's gibson copys

  2. Been lucky enough to work on a few Greco instruments over the years. Really top notch replica instruments made by Kanda Shokai Corporation. Nice!

  4. Hi RW, I was lucky of grabbing a ASPEN Les Paul copy from the lawsuit era (made in japan), forgotten in a pawn shop. I was trying to get information about it but I couldn't find anything. However after looking at your post I noted that this Greco Telecaster has the same twin 2-way switch selectors as my Aspen. May I ask you if have some information about this? If you want I can also send pictures of mine. Thanks in advance Juan. BTW, the sound is pretty awesome
