Brian Eastwood "Bender Distortocaster" melted Strat with "Gouranga" finish on eBay UK

guitarz.blogspot.com:

...from the ridiculous to the... errmmm... ridiculous. (But at least these guitars are made to play well).

And what could be wilder than a Bender Distortocaster from Brian Eastwood? Other than a Distortocaster with a wacky paint job, that is. And should I know what "gouranga" is supposed to mean? (Answers in the comments please).

This particular guitar is currently being offered for sale on eBay UK and has a Buy It Now price of £1,399.

For other Bender Distortocasters please see here and here.

Brian Eastwood "Bender Distortocaster" melted Strat on eBay now

guitarz.blogspot.com:

We've looked the Brian Eastwood "Bender Distortocaster" before on Guitarz but I just can't resist showing it again because it is such a wild-looking guitar, and you don't often see them come up for sale on eBay.

Brian Eastwood is, of course, a legendary British luthier, and his guitars should not be confused with Mike Robinson's Eastwood guitar brand. Despite the warped appearance of the Distortocaster, it is reported to play exceedingly well and gives a reliable rendition of all the classic Strat sounds.

The example pictured here is currently listed on eBay UK with a Buy It Now price of £1600.

Brian Eastwood "Bender Distortocaster" on eBay now

Now I'm sure many of you will have seen Brian Eastwood's Dali-esque take on the classic design of the Fender Strat, the appropriately-named Bender Distortocaster, but you don't often see these come up for sale on eBay, so if you're looking for something a bit weird but which will also play beautifully, snap it up now while you can!

Brian Eastwood Guitars - Brian Eastwood is one of the UK's top luthiers with over 30 years experience. He also has a warped sense of humour when it comes to some of his guitar designs, such as the Bender Distortocaster seen here!
