It may be beautifully carved, and the inlay work may well be exquisite; it could be that it's a beautiful player and sounds absolutely fantastic, but for me
this guitar checks all the tickboxes on what makes for a Certified Hideous Guitar. Never mind that it was "
an award winning guitar at the 2008 Smoky Mountain Jubilee in Gatlinburg, TN" (award winning in what category, I have to ask?), it's absolutely ghastly.
