Meazzi Supersonic selling with Meazzi Kapitan 444 amp. Awesome Italian guitar with built in speaker.

guitarz.blogspot.com:

We've looked at the Meazzi Supersonic before in this post , but when I saw this one up for sale it caught my eye enough that I thought it would be nice to revisit. This Meazzi Supersonic is a great looking guitar from 1964 and I'd be interested in hearing that built in speaker.

Listed for a very tempting $625

1960s Italian-made Meazzi Hollywood Supersonic with built-in amp

guitarz.blogspot.com:
I don't have much to say about this 1960s Italian Meazzi Hollywood Supersonic other than it is refreshing to see a guitar with built-in amp and speaker that doesn't look like a cheap and nasty effort thrown together to amuse the kids. This guitar looks to be nicely built and has that coolness factor. As to how well it performs in reality, I am unfortunately unable to comment.

Currently listed on eBay with a Buy It Now price of €749.

Meazzi Hollywood Old Jazz

Very classic or really bizarre? A thinline body with very elegant outline and a big round soundhole combined with two typically Meazzi gold foil pickups, that's the Meazzi Old Jazz.

Belonging to the Hollywood series, it's been built between 1963 and 1960 in Milan, where the company was set, at the difference of most guitar Italian companies in the 1960s like Eko that were in Castelfidardo.

Vintage & Rare guitar of the week: Meazzi Basso Profundo 1962 violin bass

guitarz.blogspot.com:
Here's a slightly different take on the much copied and reinterpretated violin bass. From Italy in 1962, this is a Meazzi Basso Profundo, which in keeping with many Italian-built guitars and basses from that era has a beautifully crazily coloured celluloid finish to the front of the body.

Fetish Guitars tells us that:
Meazzi is one of the most popular labels of musical instruments in Italy, set in Milan rather than in the Castelfidardo area like the Eko & Co. It produced also drums and distributed a range of imported brands until few years ago.
Some late 50s/early 60s Meazzi guitars were produced with assistance from Wandré Pioli, who of course went on went on to produce his own idiosyncratic series of guitars and basses in partnership with Athos Davoli.

This bass is currently being offered for sale via Vintage & Rare, priced at €695.
