Feast your eyes on these guitars by Burns London Ltd, as used by The Honeycombs performing their No.1 Joe Meek-produced hit single "Have I The Right" from July 1964 (when I was only 6 months old). Originally The Sheratons, the band was re-named "The Honeycombs" by Pye Records chairman Louis Benjamin making a sly reference to drummer Honey Lantree's job as an assistant in a hair salon.
Thanks to Jeremiah for recommending this clip (pun not intended).
Any interest in a Burns Bison reissue with SN 00000, a prototype of the reissue made possibly for NAMM. Mint condition, with original hard shell case... I'm not sure what to price it at. -Dustin planetwoodstock@gmail.com
