guitarz.blogspot.com:
The seller of this guitar found it in the basement and said that it was his/her father's guitar when he was a kid.
It's hard to tell what the guitar is. I'm assuming 1960s Japanese but I cannot recall a guitar with a headstock nearly as big as the body.
I'm at a loss for figuring this one out.
Anyone?

maybe a Guyatone made, Broadway branded for selling in the UK
ReplyDeleteThat pickguard and pickup is Zen-On for sure. Google search and look at images; you'll see several pretty similar guitars.
ReplyDeleteI believe it's a Zenon.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Japanese, it's a Zen-On. I've got the two-pickup version, with gold foil pickups and vibrato, finished in sunburst :-)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a japanese Zen-On
ReplyDeleteAnother vote for Zenon. My Bruno Conqueror also has a giant headstock that fits that profile but with sharper edges.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thanks folks.
ReplyDeleteFunnily enough one of my favourite finds on this blog was a Zenon - http://guitarz.blogspot.ca/2013/04/more-vintage-japanese-solidbody.html
