1960s vintage vinyl-covered Egmond Jazzmaster-style guitar

guitarz.blogspot.com:
Although Holland's Egmond guitars are not particularly known for their high quality of workmanship or playability, certain models are nonetheless becoming quite collectable, such as this vinyl-covered Egmond currently listed on eBay UK with a Buy It Now price of £350.

  2. Just what everyone wanted! A guitar finish that matched your mum's SKIRT? Fab.

I can live w/ a lot of things, that's not so bad. My experience w/ these types of trems was you could actually see the bridge flex, strain and travel when using the arm. Nevermind staying 'in tune' ( your whole intonation would be off! )

The abrupt edge of the fingerboard and fret ends could be dressed with a file to minimize finger lacerations. For those w/ a steady hand and plenty of patience. I can't speak for others but my confidence level was so low w/ these you never found out what the pickups sounded like at fuller volumes. IMHE
